Always use your real name, IMO. I do everywhere I go.

My re agent was really helpful, is it okay to start a thread in my local sub-forum of the county he is in so I can recommend his to others? It's a modest home and he's not making much on the sale and has been more than helpful.

Or do I have to wait for someone to ask for a good agent? I already did this, because the person was having trouble finding someone. I gave her his info but it was his office number and he didn't get the message and wasn't able to get back to her in time so she thought that he didn't want her business, she worried about that all along because she only wanted to buy land.

I see varying levels of enforcement around CD, but I think the TOS or your local moderator will tell you that you will be edited if you recommend an agent openly without a request from another member.
Only by DM. Only when requested.

Gotta respect the rules, as they make CD the robust community it is. Rampant self-promotion by mindless self-centered real estate agents, or other business people, could destroy the sharing that happens in the forums.
