I am located in CA and I signed a Residential Listing Agreement with the added(write-in) to change Exclusive Authorization and Right to Sell to Non-Exclusive. This is C.A.R. Form RLA, Revised 4/06.
I wish to terminate the agreement and wonder if I will have any issues with having to pay him commission although I terminate the agreement. We talked about that I can end the agreement at anytime and wrote that sentence in using the word "revoke a anytime", unfortunately that was written on a different form: Seller's Advisory(C.A.R. Form SA, Revised 10/01).
I had stated to him that I wished to continue marketing my property as a For Sale By Owner and hence the non-exclusive reason for the agreement.

The form you want to use is form RLAN Residential Listing Agreement - Open
This gives you the right to sell the property yourself and gives the broker the right to compensation if s/he produces a buyer.
If I'm reading your post correctly, you want to terminate the agreement entirely. You can do this by sending a certified mail expressing your desire to terminate the listing agreement.
