So you have it listed now, but want to pull the listing instead of having it go back to active after the failed sale?
Talk to your Realtor... If she's done good work, give her a great review. If you've had an amicable relationship, she may be very reasonable. This happens, it's part of the business.

Reason: correct gender :-)
Most realtors would let you terminate.
It would be nice if you offered to pay her advertising costs she spent, and things like photograper/flyers/yard sign. Those are costs that she would normally get back when it sold. If you are terminating, it removes the opportunity for her to recoup costs.
She let us terminate. She was very kind about it. There are incentives to allowing us to terminate as I've been coddling her son who is in trouble alot. He's sort of the town outcast so any profit she would make, no doubt, she'd give back if someone would be kind to him
Unfortunately we are privvy to the false conviction he endured and the person who did it, was a victim herself by her father. She's spoken to everyone to tell her story now, since she's moved away so the town knows the truth. She just showed up one day, guilt ridden, had to get it off her chest. This guy needs a new trial but his life is ruined
Anyhow it all worked out for the best. We will be her half time neighbors and are still seeking some cheap property in the town to buy. We have to do the leg work to contact the owners but it's worth it.
