Make a picture when he removes it and call the police....called tresspassing!

Only if you have rules about signs in your HOA regulations which we have in all the communities I own properties (it recently has changed), we aren't allowed to have any other signs than the one the HOA allows and it can be FSBO...but all colors and formats and poles are identical. You have to pay aprox. $ 120.- pers sign/pole. If you do have the sign you can put your own phone number on it and realtors have already signs because the can use them over and over for the same community.

If there are no rules, you can also write a letter to the A$$$ realtor and tell him that if he touches your sign again you will go and report him to the realtors board and the police.

I think some pictures of him removing the signs would be helpful. Pictures + whatever shows that the signs are ok (since you know he'll bring it up) sent to the board of realtors would be effective here. There's got to be something in their code that says they won't go after other people's signs.

Keep in mind that if your signs are in the public right of way anyone can take them or lay them on the ground. It may not be ethical but may not be against the law.

Default HOA update

Thought I'd give everyone an update on where things are with the idiot Realtor president of the HOA. I handed the whole issue off to my attorney who has filed suit against the HOA - there is nothing in the covenants about signs int he county right of way, much less the common areas. This idiot sent me several emails stating tha the had taken down the signs and that he had the right to remove any sings including political signs fromthe county right of way.

I doubt that political signs are allowed to be taken down.....even with a county ordening the only signs allowed are the political.

It seems this realtor president is looking out for him self and is frustrated that he is out of work, which I can understand but he has to deal with it and don't blame others.....during the booming time you probable didn't complain that he was able to sell many homes without having to do much work.
