Has anyone ever of Praetorian Insurance Company?

We just signed the contract to purchase a new construction home with delivery in Nov/Dec and this company has already contacted us regarding Homeowner's Insurance. They said they got our info from the Builder (seem legit as they knew my current and future addresses already). Anyway, am wondering if they're truly legit since they provided a quote that beat anything else we've found thus far (including after accounting for auto discounts from Progressive).

Any interaction or thoughts with this company?

Yes - they are one of my customers in my professional life. Great company, solid management, completely legit.

Are they now getting into regular property home insurance? They are known more for their specialty insurances. I would do some major checking with you state insurance commissioner to get as much info as possible. Even though they may be a fantastic reinsurer, they may be a lousy personal one on one home owner isnurance company... So check it all out.
