Has anyone tried selling a home on EBay? If so, I would be interested in learning about your experience doing so.
I know that realtors don't like working with FSBO's because of the latter's lack of experience. However, if an FSBO is willing to pay a realtor a commission for bringing in a buyer, that shouldn't be a big problem.

internet buying house is pretty crazy for now ..LOL I would think a lot buyers would like to actually see the product prior making commitment..
The thing to understand about ebay (or any other auction site, for that matter) is that the buyers are looking for a bargain. Are you willing to sell your home at a bargain basement price?
And possibly have an ax murderer come and look at it??? No presrceen with ebay, you get whomever happens to look at your ad online and judging with my experiences dealing on that site some are real winners.
instead of paying ebay to put your house up there try craigslist....its free and you can repost your ad often to keep it at the top of the page.
With ebay no one is going to buy/bid without seeing the house first....especially in this market.
Ebay is more of an advertisement than really auctioning off your house....and since its simply advertising i think craigslist is better as once again...FREE!
I have NEVER heard of anyone actually buying or selling any sort of real estate deal on ebay.....
There was someone here the other day who sold their home on ebay. I posted and asked for more information but they didn't respond. Their home was sold to an investor in another state.
