If a real estate developer is looking to develop a high rise building with a terrific view of the city skyline, how do they determine the best place? How can they figure out which property would give the best view from the future building?

Helicoptor. I have seen this. An empty lot in a downtown area. I worked near the lot and saw the helicoptor come in very low as to what was the eventual floor height of the building that was built on the exact site. They took video/photo from various heights while hovering above the exact lot.

I think there are some remote cameras that can go to a certain height now. I think they use a small remote flying camera of some sort...possibly on a baloon type device or mini helicocoptor type device. They advertise to realtors and many get hired by realtors to take shots of high valued property at various angles from several stories above the property. You can google and find out more.
