Ahh, why isn't the closing happening? Closing by mail isn't a big deal, but the reason may be.
This.
I get the sense that it is more common these days to not have an in-person closing. My sellers fedexed the documents, and the same was true for all of my friends who have purchased houses within the last few years. It seems pretty standard. But the fact that your buyers are not able to close on time would worry me. Why not? What went wrong? And will it be fixed in a timely matter--or at all?
Even with the closing back to today, I would still want a final walk-through inspection, particularly if the seller had moved-out of the home since you saw it. It's amazing how many things that you thought were included with the house, can simply disappear.

It sounds like the OP is selling the house, not buying.
All went well. Papers signed and keys turned over.
Now... to start looking for a new home.
