My husband and I have a historic home in Southern Maine that we are trying to sell. It was built in 1797 and was formally a tavern. It maintains many original details and has a lot of charm. My question is, does anyone know of any websites where we can reach folks who might be specifically looking to purchase a historic home? Thanks in advance!

Seems like you need some targeted marketing.

Ex. oldhouses.com
historicproperties.com

Perhaps an ad in Downeast or some other regional magazine is worthwhile, too?

Contact your local historical preservation society and see if they have any leads for you!

I would also recommend having you or your agent post a blog with pics, etc about your home.

1797, I bet that house history has some great stories.
