This is the San Diego Forum, maybe you should post in the Las Vegas forum for better advice.

Buy an old $500 car and park it there yourself.

Texan shoots man for parking on the street in front of his house

This is why HOA's are so common. People have no idea how to be good neighbors. It should not be my obligation to educate an idiot. I had a neighbor that parked his crap truck in front of my house and rarely moved it. Since I had no HOA I had to go over and tell him if he insisted on parking in front of my house at least use one of his nice cars that took up the two spaces in front of his house since he kept his driveway and garage empty. How rude for him to think it was OK for me to have his eyesore out my window.

He never parked in front of my house again. And don't get me started on people that think they can drive up your driveway to turn around in the middle of the block!

Maybe you should park your car there....And it will keep him from parking there.

Park in front of his house, that's what I would do.

Here, you don't own the spaces in front of your house. If someone parks in front of my house I have no say. Now...if they park in front of my house and then "get busy", THEN I can call the police. And have.

Well it's a public street but if it really bothers you (and trust me stuff like that bothers me too) just walk over and ask him to park his vehicle in front of HIS house. Problem solved!
