Thanks for all your support and advice! Apparently, it only takes a "Oh poor me" thread to get an offer! We received an offer on Saturday - 20% less than our initial asking price and 40 K less than current asking price. We tried to counter and negotiate - the buyer would not budge. I did say that I was dying to get any offer didn't I?

So it's bittersweet - we will finally be together as a family again - albeit in a small rental since we took such a bath on this house. It's hard not to feel taken advantage of. But there is a huge sense of relief that we are getting out of here after 7 long months on the market.

Thanks again for all the help!

As long as you're ok with the offer then it's all good. Sometimes there's a need to put personal mental health over the best thing for us financially so good for you, hope your life is more pleasant now....
