Did anyone catch the Town Hall meeting on Fox this morning in PA with Arlen Specter? The people, albeit for one, were very well informed, in control, polite and Spector danced around all 30 questions-saying he really didn't have to be there as he was on vacation. (Really don't those folks employ him?)

One gentleman was worked up and irrate and guess the only part being broadcast? Yep-the one out of hundreds.

OH--I missed it because I slept until 12 noon!!! I didn't go to bed until 4 am! Then I had to get ready and drive 1 hour to my friends house who does my hair....she cut/colored my hair,...then I had dinner with another friend and WHEW--finally home!!

Specter has got to GO!! He is a MORON!

I told my husband and i thought he was going to have a heart attack lol.......... I said to her well the other house is under contract in 28 days across the street...maybe I should use their agent and laughed. All she did was laugh back. Minga da fatch,.WTF. WTF. WTF. WTF. WTF. Ok, I have had enough of her.

Had another showing --got call at 1245p--(from someone else in my agents office)and said, from 130p-330p...so away we left. At least the agent left a biz card this time.

I would go to your reator's boss--everyone answers to someone!--I would tell him/her about this moronic realtor and tell them you want out NOW or you will hire an attorney to do a dissolution of contract or something to the sort. I think they would let you out rather than get into the lawyers...what do you think Joy or Jody? There has to be some way she can get out from under that stupid arse realtor.

We went to a good ole southeren Lawyer today but i cannot talk about it yet. We tried 3 lawyers and in this county everyone knows everyone so they all said it was a conflict of interest. This one gave us some good advice but if i am going to do his 2nd thing I could do I couldn't tell anyone. So my lips are sealed for now.

We also got to see one of his games Sunday on streaming video.

Good luck to your GS and his teammates!! Oh, I am so glad you contacted a lawyer! When I told my hairdresser tonight (she kennels her dogs all the time when she goes on vacation), she was horrified. She said they have to be held responsible. I understand you cannot talk about it for now.

Shel, we are going to file a report with the sheriff this morning...it really bothers me that stuff was going on in MY house..ick. I need to check with the credit bureaus, my friend Artie said we could put a 90 day hold on our info and be notified if anyone tries to open an account or buy anything..so will do that today

I have to admit that for most of our lives we have been pretty trusting and it seems we just keep getting screwed..no more..

I knew about the perseid showers, CrazyMa.but i had to go to bed early..and we have wonderful viewing here, no city lights..drats..

Barb......Ugh, relatives!! Can pick your friends but you sure can't pick those relatives! You definately need to press charges, no matter what. I can't wait to get back home to SC and get away from all 3 of my in-laws!!!

Shelley......Problem is that the stupid idiot keeps getting voted in!! He's much like Murtha. Shows up just before election time and throws some money around. Now they are so high up in the ranks that people assume they have some clout for their region. Yeah, he has clout all right, just doesn't give a rat's behind about those who put him in there (but it sure wasn't me for either of them!!)

Our agents came on Sunday. I told them that I didn't believe the "3 mile" excuse, there had to be something else. Guess the guy is with WalMart or something. In fact, the buyer's agent had already called them for their fax number because he was so sure they were going to put in an offer on ours. Typical crappy a$$ed luck of ours. They claim that they have never heard one comment against the house from either other realtors or potential buyers. One person said something about wondering if we would be willing to paint the house because it was a bit faded and when she said "probably" they were fine. It's now getting painted anyhow, should have been done a year ago. Supposedly they are going to still keep in touch with the other people in case the other house falls through. Also going to touch base with several others who might still be interested. One person decided to look in another area saying it, also, was closer to their work. Unfortunately, the road they would need to take is a 2 lane with 35-45 MPH speed limits on it. Going from our house is a 4-lane the whole way through. DH has driven both many times and told them they might want to tell the people to drive it a couple of days. Invariably it takes twice as long than from our house. Buyers just do not use their heads, I guess. We did drop the price very minimally just in order to be able to say it had been lowered and to get interest back up again. I can't wait to get back to SC away from all the hassle and stress of not only the house, but a bunch of other stuff as well.

Oh......Got a call from Esurance this morning telling me they are mailing the check out today to get my door fixed. So I called the body shop to get them to order the parts. We will either drop it off tomorrow afternoon or Monday evening depending on whether DH wants to take the van or truck up to our daughter's. But at least I will get it fixed before I go back. Might be delayed a day or 2, but that's OK. I will just leave the next day after I get it back. I can't tell you the number of times I had to call them, though. Pray that if any of you have to go through this that the person who hits your vehicle doesn't have one of those stupid "off brand" insurance companies!!
