My poor little guy is at school in Coon Rapids. Right next to Blaine.

No, answering machine is still picking up. I was going to leave but it sounds like they just issued a new warning for that area. I don't want to drive right into it!

Well my Dad went to the doc today. His main doc had a conference with the gastro and hemotologist docs already. His different blood testing related to the liver the last week is not looking good, the numbers are increasing Found out too that last couple of days he is looking jaundiced.

For some reason the nodule, that was seen plain as day on the ultrasound, did not show on the MRI, but the blood clot did show also. They are arranging for the specialist to do a biopsy, hopefully tomorrow.
They hesitate to offer diagnosis until those results, which may take an addtional 72 hours.
They do not 'think' any of this is coming from any of his meds. The gastro doc had done some test in the past but saw nothing to be concerned with then....

my (step) mom did ask the docs point blank if this could be cancer, and they said yes.

SO I am really not in a good place right now. My daddy is my rock. He has been since the day some lady showed up at their door with me, me wearing a diaper and wrapped in a thin flannel blanket in the middle of a snowstorm....one heck of a 9th wedding anniversary gift LOL
I know he is 84 and lived a wonderful life, but this, this crap is just so hard to face......it never is, is it?
