mom119,

I hope you take them to the cleaners over this. You have suffered far too long with this "white elephant". Please keep us to date.

Depending on how this finally gets settled, there may be a state law named after your to prevent such "messy" transactions from happening to future home buyer's.

Still at it. After some very sneaky moves by the other attorney, I think we may be ready to go to trial (wow....it's only been four years!!). I knew it wouldn't be fast, but didn't think I'd still be dealing with it. I'm not going to actually put down too many specifics due to who knows who's reading this (prob the other attorney/side). When this is all over, if anyone wants to know specifics, I would be more than willing to share. Thanks again to everyone for all their advice, opinions and everything else. I appreciate people reading this.

Mom, you know this entire group of people have been reading and waiting......but our only investment is reading this thread. I cannot imagine living this story. And, I cannot wait to read the conclusion and pray that it is not a closed settlement (non-disclosure). What makes this so very egregious is the fact the sellers are licensed Realtors. You'll notice the Realtors on this board want you to take out that trash. The fact that you trusted them to do their job right makes this a double whammy, because in any other transaction with problems, that is who you would lean on.

Go get 'em. What state are you in? (It's been a while since I have read the entire thread).
