I would love for you to share your favorite Shrimp Dip recipes. Here is the one that my husband currently likes:

1 small can of tiny, cooked shrimp packed in water
1 8 oz. brick of cream cheese, softened
1 can of Cream of Shrimp Soup
1/2 lemon, squeezed
Salt and Garlic Powder to taste

Fritos scoops

Mix cream cheese, soup and lemon all together. Add in shrimp and incorporate gently into mixture. Chill overnight, if possible. Serve with Fritos scoops.

I figured out after years and years that I like shrimp dip so much I ought to just spread it on a lightly toasted french bread and enjoy it as a sandwich. I will definitely try Baretta's recipe above. But here is my own which has evolved as a sandwich spread. Remember I eat this as a spread on bread and not just as a dip.

20 Jumbo raw frozen, deveined shelled, tail on shrimp.
Boil in Old Bay and water one minute.
Chop 1/3 rough chop, 1/3 small diced, and 1/3 very fine chop.
3-4 shallots, finely chopped
I stalk celery finely chopped
tablespoon of capers finely chopped
half a cup of mayo
teaspoon of super hot chinese chili sauce (the one with the green lid)
stir together and add Mayo, if needed, to your preferred consistency

Needs to chill for a bit before serving

At office parties we used to just bring in the square of cream cheese, spread the can of tiny shrimp on top & pour cocktail sauce on the top of that..Easy peezy!

You can even substitute imitation crabmeat for the shrimp, it's pretty darn good too.

Of all the dips I've ever made, this is the one that gets the most compliments (sorry, OP, it's not shrimp):

CLAM DIP

1 pkg. room-temperature cream cheese
1 can minced clams (reserve the juice)
1/2 tsp. Worchester sauce (or more to taste)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 Tbsp. minced green onion
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Mix ingredients together. Add clam juice to get the consistency you want.

I took ideas from both of you and made a Shrimp Dip for New Year's Eve that I fell in love with.

I used the cream cheese, cream of shrimp soup, and lemon from Beretta's recipe. Then I used the shrimp boiled in Old Bay and chopped from Wilson. Added in some chopped green onions and a couple of splashes of Frank's hot sauce.

Just perfect for me.....loved it. Thanks to you both.
