My Danish aunt used to make the most mouth-watering Danish pastries from scratch. Unbelievably, it would seem that no one in the family has the written recipe! I watched her make them numerous times as a child, but she had the recipe in her head and she passed away long before I thought to write it down. Does anyone have a fabulous recipe? The only ingredients I can remember are flour and butter - and that's not much use!
I have made these. Its a lot of work but they are really good. Once you have the dough you have to make them into pastries with fillings, etc. Or you can make into a coffee cake that is filled.
