Ingredients I have:

Black Beans
Brown rice
tomato paste
colby jack shredded cheese
bread
eggs
lots of spices
raisins
frozen broccoli

I'm thinking some beans and rice dish, but every time I cook the beans, they taste bland, or too spicy all I taste is the spice. I do use a pressure cooker.

Ideas?

There once was a website where you could enter all the ingredients that you had -- or the ones that you wanted to use -- and it would offer recipe suggestions. This isn't the same site (I can't remember the original one's name) but it's the same concept. I think it's an awesome tool.

Thanks. The problem with those sites, is that there is no imagination to what to make. It's all by the book.
I tried it, but the site didn't even give me one bean and rice recipe.

Drop the raisins and make a breakfast burrito.

Seriously?!? That's bizarre.

I've never used the site. I loved the idea of it but never remembered to use it.

No onion, no garlic, no jalapeno or poblano... time to go shopping.

For your beans, they take more salt than you would expect, and a shot of something acidic at the end, such as lemon juice or balsamic vinegar or sumac, really wakes up the flavor without making them taste only of spice.

I'd make an egg-broccoli-cheese quiche with beans on the side, and then you can make a rice pudding with raisins for dessert.

You can do that at allrecipes.com. I tried it and it came up with Black Bean Rice Burgers. The OP doesn't have all the ingredients, but they're close enough s/he could probably make something very similar.
