LOL

I can almost picture the look on your face as you typed this^^.

I hope the lady wasn't too short. At 6'2" I carry the weight fairly well. I walk and I can even see my toes

..She wasn't tall. My brother is 6'5" and used to be an athlete, but now weighs over 300. His height does help.

I used to make a dump cake with cherries and pineapple and it was sooooo good. Just dumped the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple in the pan, top with the dry cake mix and pats of butter,as well as finely chopped pecans or walnuts.

Good stuff!

Been making these for at least a decade.

The chopped nuts are a good addition. Or coconut.

My first Dump Cake version had pineapple and applesauce. My second, cherry. Peach sounds delicious. Annnnd you really can make any of these in a crock pot.

I decided to make the Peach Dump Cake and then in the grocery store I saw there are peaches that are in a light syrup, as well as those packed in water, and those packed in juice. Which peaches do I need? I think there would be a sweetness factor to take into consideration. I bought a can of peaches in juice, but now I am thinking I bought the wrong one. Would it work anyway and would I need to add sugar or anything?

I think the ones in juice would work okay. I wouldn't use the water-pack.

I've made this for almost 50 years -- learned it as a Girl Scout. Always made it with apples -- my brother called it "apple crud" but it didn't stop him from eating 3-4 helpings at a time.

Maybe 6-7 years ago I had like a bushel of peaches to use up and decided to make a bunch of dump cakes for the freezer. Luck would have it that the local grocery had Duncan Hines cake mixes on sale for 65 cents a box, so off I headed to the store. They had been mostly cleaned out by other bargain shoppers. I got the last of the spice cake, yellow, and white -- and was left needing a couple more and the only ones left were red velvet cake mixes. Well, I made them all up. That red velvet tasted fine, but oh my, it looked like peach road kill on a plate. The only way to eat it was in the dark watching TV.

I just pulled my first apple dump cake out of the oven and took a tiny bite from the corner. Very hot, but oh so good. I have a couple of dollops of plain yogurt to go on top when it cools off

Thanks for the recipe
