Remove the little mixing paddle and put something ovet it so it won't tear up your stuff. I am using to top off a little steamer pot for the microwave. I can stand two legs and two thighs in it. I use the setting for Bananna bread. Turn it in and came back between 1:30 hrs and 2:20 minutes is to total run time for the breadmaker but not the actual ccook time of about 1;45 minutes. Meatloak in 1:0 minutes. Wrap small bonless pork chops in foil and poke drain holes. same as with skinless chicken.

Cheap efficient, Won't heat your house up as much as anything else.

I have learned to just core a potato or onion over the shaft and then just add other veggies.

whatever floats your boat. In boy scouts we cooked bacon using a magnifying glass and bright sunlight. Took forever.

I read an article about cooking food in your dishwasher. WHILE you are washing a load of dishes.

Another article demonstrated wrapping up a roast and tying it to your car engine so it can cook during your commute home from work.

I guess I am old fashioned. I just use pots, pans, and baking dishes.

While I've no current plans to purchase a breadmaker, I love quirky threads. There may be readers now !or someday who live in studio apartments or have tiny kitchens that find OP's experiments life-saving!

I think I read somewhere that you can steam a cake in a rice steamer. Or was it a crock pot? Some people are really clever at getting extra uses out of these kitchen devices. Good on you, OP! I have a bread maker which I keep waaay out of the way lest I be tempted to bake another loaf and destroy my diet. The smell of the bread baking is more than I can handle. I could devour most the loaf slathered with good Irish butter. Holiday time is the only time of the year I dust that thing off anymore. I will give your suggestions a try come Christmas.
