I've eaten this rice recipe my entire life and have no idea what it is called.

It is the best rice I've ever eaten.

1 1/4 Cups uncooked white rice
1 Can Campbells Beef Consumme
1 Can Campbells French Onion Soup
1 Stick butter

Dump in a pyrex dish, cover with foil, bake at 350 for one hour.

There is never any leftover and the recipe has been passed down through my family for at least two generations.

We’ve always called it “Baked Rice”. In fact that’s what written on the recipe card from my great aunt.

Edit: I searched for baked rice in Pinterest. I found the exact recipe called Million Dollar Rice, One Stick Butter Rice and French Onion Soup Rice. I guess people make up whatever works for them!

That sounds great. I’m not a rice fan, unless it has other flavors. I’ll definitely try it.

It is amazing. There is never, ever any rice left over.

One and one quarter cup of uncooked rice.

BTW, don't use beef broth, use Campbells Beef Consumme.

I've made rice like this many times but I always added diced bell peppers, mushrooms and garlic.

Googled your recipe and looks like it could be this:
https://www.thechunkychef.com/stick-butter-rice/
or this:
https://wishesndishes.com/french-onion-rice-bake/
but there is more:
1 1/4 Cups uncooked white rice 1 Can Campbells Beef Consumme 1 Can Campbells French Onion Soup 1 Stick butter - Google Search

Nope, you have to make it without this stuff. The beauty of the recipe is that it is one of the easiest recipes that anyone can make and it tastes amazing.
