It looks very similar to a spicy ketchup.

Depending on the store, I've seen store brands that work just fine. Safeway and Walmart store brands have been fine for me.

Cocktail Meatballs Oriental

1 lb. hamburger
1 T. peanut oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. vinegar
4 T. sugar
1/2 T. salt
2 T. cornstarch
2 T. water

Shapr and brown burger into bite-size rounds. Fry garlic in oil until golden, add soy sauce, vinegar and seasonings. Bring to a boil, add meatballs, simmer 5 minutes - thicken with cornstarch mixed with cold water. Cook 1 minute longer.

(note: I use 2 or 3 cloves of garlic)

Enjoy
I really hope someone tries this recipe - NOT the SAME OLD boring meatballs that everyone makes.
