If a woman cannot get the interest of the men she wants, is it not the same as the beta male who cannot get the attention of women? While one might not think of the woman as beta because she could get some man, among women she could be a beta because she cannot have the men she wants. Or she might be ridiculed for "rejecting" men who the other women would not consider beta. But if the woman knows who she is and what she wants, and it doesn't work out - is she not something of a beta female? She never gets her wants or needs met so she would be in the same boat as the beta male for different reasons.

No, a beta male MIGHT get attention from a 500 lb woman, but that's different than you being rejected by your ideal man. Are you on facebook? Al the nerdy girls got married, have familes, husbands, and the beta m ale sare still all celibate. Unless you are in the 500 lb category, you have it better. FACT.

He-he, I don't plan to plaster such bizarre labels on myself just because I can't get some percentage of guys whom everybody wants. In reality, those are cases of dodged bullets anyway, even if we want to be shot badly and the pain from not being shot is undeniable at the time.
I think of the beta female as more the conservative or even mousy type. I don't think of it in terms of physical attraction. Actually, I think the beta female probably attracts more men than the alpha types who are always the center of attention. I think most men are more attracted to the more reserved women than the party girls.
wrong. "average" girls get hit on even more because men are less intimidated..
This is about 500 lbs women wondering why brad pitt doesn't want them.
But women don't care about number of "hits" (sex) and think in terms of a bigger picture.
It's about knowing yourself and what you like, even if it isn't what everyone else likes (not Brad Pitt). If it never works out, you can't force yourself to change, not cool.
Not getting attention from the men you WANT attention from, is not the same thing as being unable to get attention....its so rare for women to not get attention at all.
Undesirable men however, may never get attention from anyone..period.
I think this is really indicative of the fact that women kind of take the fact that they are always sought after by SOMEone (whether they like the person or not) for granted.

OK, I have a problem again with the much-loved American lists and classifications! I don't consider myself a "party" girl, but I wouldn't describe myself as a mousy type, either. What's my label, Coolhand? Off the charts loonie?
