Here's a fun thread for your relationship forum inmates.
I was late for a team get together in the Cafeteria today and my boss reportedly told the women in the team:
"You know where he'll be, he's probably in the men's room making himself pretty"
So I reach the table and one of them calls me out, like, hey pretty boy, nice hair.
So I called the missus and asked her if I'm a pretty boy. She started laughing hysterically and said I spend too much time in style and worrying about how I look.
Could this be a case of me being pretty or is it really that time of the year where I need to ungay myself??????
Why would women call a man pretty rather than use the word handsome??
Well, I don't even use cologne for the office. It's good old scentless mitchum. Once in a while I come across douches whose cologne fills up the entire lift
Fishing for compliments, Antlered? Well, "pretty" would be a word used to describe a teeny-tiny, gayish looking BOY. "Handsome" is a word used to refer to a hot, good-looking MAN.
It may be an indication that you spend excessive time maintaining your sartorial and tonsorial splendor. Or maybe you're wearing makeup?
They recently told me to cut my hair for a meeting of the biggies. It's the financial industry and keeping it very short is the norm. I made some noise for it. Maybe that kicked it all off
People coming to my desk notice 3 types of American Crew hair gels in a little stand
We have a guy friend that spends more time in the bathroom primping everything to be just right. He takes longer than his wife to get ready when we're going out. So you could be like that and yes he's a "Pretty Boy" which is not always a good thing to call a guy. And then on the other hand there is the gay guys who do their nails, pedicure, etc that requires a lot of primp time.
So by reading many of your previous posts I suspect you fall into the 1st category.
The magic question is, is it primping as a pretty boy or the sense of insecurity about your looks and self esteem ?

That's only on Tuesdays.
