In a part of the world you are not going to be in. So you are going to give it away, to someone there.....how would you decide which family or friends to give it to, when they will all want it?

Depends on what the prize is, how far away is it eactly, the needs of people in that area, and the needs of friends and family. After weighing all those options then I'll decide what to do.
If is something big like a LOT of money, I'll go pick it up myself. If its a friggin' radio show tickets to see Radiohead in London or something I'll decline and have them award that "prize" to someone else.
But I have dug all I can out of this one...I need to replenish
