That's like 26 inches. Le roi's Ark, could be a new chapter of history.
hah. yeah, i had to revise that. i got my days and inches mixed up. NWS is reporting 10.33 Monday, 2 point something yesterday, 2.5 this morning. Forecasting 5 more inches, with 45mph winds and tornadoes.
but, yeah, we will probably have over 20 inches by the time this 3 or 4 day rain event is over. that's more than a lot of people get in a year. i might have to call obama, tell him fly his helicopter to NC, and have me airlifted out of here.
no kidding. since monday we have had 13 inches of rain, and today we are forecast to get 10 more.
then we'll probably get hit with a hurricane while the ground is nice and muddy.
Yeah I am SO over it. I figured my grass seed would be washed away...but amazingly, it has actually started germinating! Thank GOD. I sure didn't want to have to buy another 50 lbs and reseed. There are a few bare spots where the seed has washed away and I will have to redo those, but so far, I think it's not too bad. Now if it will just not wash away any more!
