Sounds like more pain than it's worth... I guess I'll have to do it at work for now (still XP) and if I really need a picture I'll have to e-mail it. Progress, huh?!

On your next pub crawl, find a cute programmer and talk him into setting it up for you!

OK, then it's a dead topic.

The second OS? Nah, I'm not doing that.

I did restore some things to the original XP look, but there are more in store (if I can at all). This ol' dog does NOT want to learn new tricks!

The comp is fast, though. My old one was on its last leg... And everything worked right out of the boxes, so I should feel lucky, I guess...
I just had a monitor replaced at work. I wanted the same (non-widescreen) type as what I had...they didn't think they could find one, but they did.

I am looking forward to Windows 7....my dept. migrated to VISTA and I despise it. We had so many problems, they decided to not migrate the other departments (technology is always the guinea pig ) and wait for 7.
I could go to 7 anytime....it just takes SO long to get my PC back to working order...finding all the apps and getting all my drives remapped and my desktop setup....dang what a PITA!

Win7 is Microsoft's way of saying "Whoops - we screwed up with Vista!"

And, as Si and I have discussed here, if you don't work it just right you might lose a lot of your old programs due to incompatibility. If you're coming to 7 from Vista, though, I believe it's an easier migration than from XP...

I should get my friend back on here for this discussion - she's the quintessential computer nerd and could answer our questions 1-2-3.

All I know is I'm hitting the gym harder starting tomorrow. I've got 16 days to kick ass in there. Plus I'm starting to tan again..
It sounds like you don't really want to see your ex. Do you have to go? If meeting him is going to be upsetting, I say skip it.

Do you kickbox? Pretend the punching bag is his head.

Really? Damn, I didn't know that. I just don't get this idiotic idea!

Some run Vista at work, but not many. I was thinking of getting a computer when the word was already out about Windows 7 and I decided to wait because of the horrible reviews Vista was getting.

Wow, we're having a gorgeous sunrise!

Have a good one, everybody!

Bro, you ought to get a Logitech wireless mouse, etc for your laptop. It works real well.
