Since the sperm lived long enough to be create a viable pregnancy, one can assume the p/h--acid balance in the mouth is quite similar to the vagina???
That was my point I was trying to make too. I don't see how from a medical / scientific standpoint that could have even worked. Once they hit the air, they'd have been done for... or so I thought.
I'm with you. Also with the other poster when he stated she AND the courts should have been able to rule that this was not a gift since the deposit was made in her mouth. SMDH, I guess this is another example of why you should use condoms regardless of the activities or lack there of, unless you are married. This chick is sooo slimy, why would you want to bring a child into this child into the world under those circumstances? Beyond me..WOW!
Who knows......a condom MAY have been her collection device. It certainly would work.

I'm female and to me this is just wrong. On so many levels. This poor man is being forced by the court to pay child support for a child created by his then partners scientific manipulation of his genetic material. Resulting in a pregnancy that could not have happened as the result of their sexual activity.
I've always had a hard time with things like this and the whole issue of men being required to pay CS for children they didn't father. I still think all this is wrong but here's how it was explained to me. The courts always look for what will benefit the child......not what's fair to the adults. I still don't understand why it is this way....all people should be equal. But the courts want to protect and care for the children because they can't fend for themselves.
As far as I'm concerned, this man should be able to sue this woman(a doctor) for the whole amount of CS he is being ordered to pay. Plus extra for lawyer's fees and a little pain, suffering, and inconvenience.
Nope, if the circumstances are exactly what they say they are, only SHE should be responsible, IMO.
I know men get excited when they hear of a story about an innocent man being duped by a lying she-devil, but men accuse women of 'tricking' them into pregnancy all the time and I guess they should all be let off the hook too. How did this woman collect the semen if they only had oral, keep a turkey baster in her mouth? We don't know any real tangible details of this story other than he is apparently very distressed about being a dad.
But of course men are quick to jump on the indignation train.
Wow. that's all I can say is wow. I mean being a woman, I would have NEVER under any circumstance thought to do something like this. Who knows what actually happened though. I have a feeling the entire story isn't out yet.

Firstly, I said if the circumstances were as stated.
Secondly, I didn't realize my gender dictated what my opinions should or shouldn't be. For the record, I'm a woman.
