I'm glad some people could do that..... I couldn't for a million bucks..... I'm far to squeamish.

I heard that paramedics have it the worst, that they "clean" them up before the docs even seen people that have had a nasty car wreck.

My hats off to you.

It's not so much that I think it's wrong, or I shouldn't do it. (I don't really do shouldn't, as you know). It's more that I know more descriptive words, and I could use them... but I'm soooo laaazzzyyyy.

I dated a sailor for a little while this year. It wasn't a competition, but he was surprised at my language, when I would describe frustration with something at work, or at school. I think because otherwise I don't look the part. I have no street cred when someone first meets me, lol!

We're getting ready to watch a documentary about the french singer Edith Piaf, from what I've read and heard about her, her life was complete chaos and turmoil.

It is good to get them stabalized, slow the effects of shock down enough to get there, take a picture and into the operating room. The amount of good that can be done pre-hospital. It saves time when getting there to get to surgery to buy some time.

I'd love to work on a flight team someday.

How long have you worked EMS? Also, I looked at your profile pic and can't figure out which one of you is SD and which is dogwalker, lol.

The one we have at home from Netflix is Edith Piaf: A passionate Life.

I believe we did see the movie of her. La Vie en Rose, and some other documentary.... I can't remember the name.

Anyways, she was a complete mess......
