Wait until your angry spouse is calm. Try speaking not arguing about the issue. Is your marriage about complimenting one another or competing? If you did something wrong, admit it and say you're sorry.

I don't think I've ever put a man "in the doghouse" - I really wonder where some women get the power of "putting them on the couch"

SO since my husband has never felt like he's in the doghouse I guess I've never gotten anything when I've been upset. It would be nice though...flowers or something that says "Hey I still love you"

most of the time if we have an arguement I get a Hallmark E Card the next day at work with a sorry in it
