THIS is why so many of those "silly" DV victims stay.

Body of missing Bronx mom Tina Adovasio found in woods; husband expected to turn himself in

So sad.

This man is obviously a head case with a long history of abusing women.

Men like him are why wives like her need a very strong support system and a good plan in place before they take steps to leave.

It's a shame that she didn't see the warning signs of his first marriage. I don't know why women go into these type of abusive relationships to begin with.

So it's the domestic violent victim's fault she's dead? Or is it the killers fault she's dead

If he really murdered her (innocent until proven guilty remember?) then it is his fault she's dead.

Are you really unclear about this?

I can understand why he asked the question.

The OP gave the impression - well, no, she outright said - that the DV victims who don't leave their abusive marriages are silly... I can see how that gives the impression that she's placing the blame on the victim.

It was sarcasm. We've had many discussions here on this topic where so many people think it's that easy to walk away, that these women are asking for it and they enjoy being in these situations.

He lost his job due to the abuse of his first wife. I have to wonder if she knew this.

Which is why I said on this thread: https://www.city-data.com/forum/relat...acting-ex.html that sometimes it's a good idea to contact the ex.

I knew what you meant

You could go back and edit your post to put silly in quotation marks - that way no one else would misunderstand you
