Is it wrong to derive pleasure from viewing train wrecks?
I don't know if it is wrong or not, but I can't do it. I find myself wanting to fix everything for everyone in real life and on here...too bad I can't.
I am willing to offer advise or suggestions or whatever, but if they are unwilling to learn or listen to what I have to say, then I can't help them. I don't enjoy others misery but I often shake my head and ask WTF over.
I'm sorry about Max's snake. Regardless of one's feelings about snakes, he was obviously a loved pet and it is always hard to lose them. I have memories of crying (okay, bawling really ) over the loss of my first hamster.

I was gonna make a crack about "big ones", I thought the better of it though.
Actually mrs. chow begged me not to.
I knew it. My spidey senses were tingling.
I have to tell you all a snake story.
My husband found a garden snake when he was young, and his parents let him keep it in an aquarium in his room. One day, his stepmother (who hates snakes) noticed that the aquarium was empty. Jake the Snake had escaped, but rather than confessing, my husband told his stepmother that Jake had died and was buried in the forest. But several days later, Jake was back in the aquarium. Stepmother asked what the heck, and my husband told her the following:
"I was walking in the forest and saw Jake! He wasn't really dead. I think he was sick. But he escaped being buried alive ... it's a MIRACLE! I think he was waiting for me to find him and bring him home."
Yaawwwwnnn. Feeling a wee bit dazed today. The due date for my granddaughter was yesterday but she evidently did not get the memo. I was wondering, do people still do cigars or is that gone in this pc world we live in?
People still do cigars alright. Yesterday I was on my way home when I saw this kid of about 10 years old smoking a cigar. He was halfway through with it and looked like he had been smoking for decades. Then he said his parents were the ones sitting on the porch. I don't know if he was lying about that, but dang! Kids keep getting younger and younger and smoking and doing drugs.

I saw a gigantic frog yesterday and thought it must be dead. I almost touched it with my shoe and off it went jumping.
