To allay her fears you have to address those fears with her. Listen to what she is telling you. Act upon it. If it is meant to be it will work out. If her fears have foundation and your actions do not sufficently address them you'll know soon enough.

Arizona!!

I thought you were trying to get her to move to the Australian Outback or the Amazon.

Just invite her over for short visits and start from there. Maybe in time, she will learn to be comfortable.

Will you be living among the cactus and sand?

I never saw that stuff in the city.

I never saw a scorpion when I lived in Arizona. I saw plenty of them when I lived in Texas though.

I have killed several copperhead snakes since I have lived in Missouri. I never saw a snake when I lived in Phoenix.

Spiders? Shoot, they are everywhere.

If my husband wanted me to move to the moon with him, I would. As a wife, that is my duty. Too bad she does not feel that the OP is as important as her irrational fears. Just sayin'

If she will never move to AZ and you will never leave her, then I guess you guys are staying put. If she sprung this on you last minute, I suspect there might be more to the story.

I can't see how you can decide to move then it fall apart over reptiles and insects??......

At this point you sound like a cyborg.

Are you assimilating her, too?

Damn kid, I'm not telling you to leave her , I'm telling you not to accomodate her phobia's.

You have absolutely NO CLUE what you are signing up for if you do that.

Hint: The phobia's only get more numerable and worse, and her world gets smaller and smaller.
