I love my girlfriend--she is the biggest part of me, and I will never leave her. But I'm having trouble navigating her comfort zone. She is cancelling our upcoming move due to her fears. How can I allay her fears?
To allay her fears you have to address those fears with her. Listen to what she is telling you. Act upon it. If it is meant to be it will work out. If her fears have foundation and your actions do not sufficently address them you'll know soon enough.
I never saw a scorpion when I lived in Arizona. I saw plenty of them when I lived in Texas though.
I have killed several copperhead snakes since I have lived in Missouri. I never saw a snake when I lived in Phoenix.
Spiders? Shoot, they are everywhere.
If my husband wanted me to move to the moon with him, I would. As a wife, that is my duty. Too bad she does not feel that the OP is as important as her irrational fears. Just sayin'
If she will never move to AZ and you will never leave her, then I guess you guys are staying put. If she sprung this on you last minute, I suspect there might be more to the story.
I can't see how you can decide to move then it fall apart over reptiles and insects??......
So, then, I guess you're not moving. Good luck with that.
