Wow. That will definitely ruin the romance. From the way you described him he looks like a big flabby pear or a Jabba The Hut?

Is he eating a lot of pizza, ice cream, and drinking beer?

If so maybe you could initiate a new diet for the both of you and invite him out to the gym to work out.

I feel so bad about his figure now. How do I get her to go to the gym or something without outright telling him he's fat?

Maybe he will get "the hint" that if he doesn't lose weight she will dump him for another more handsome man.

It makes perfect sense. You are physically not the same person if you gain 15 pounds of lard due to laziness and over-eating.

They have. Are some of you people reading different forums than I am??? Search any "My girlfriend is gaining weight...what do I do?" thread and you'll read about how she's not as attractive...then gradually people let their real feelings show and you do see "I would dump my g/f or wife if she got fat" comments.

After that it's REALLY a free-for-all on how gross, disgusting, gluttonous, etc. "American women" are and...yadda yadda...lather, rinse, repeat.

Go back and do a search and re-read.
