Is he eating a lot of pizza, ice cream, and drinking beer?
If so maybe you could initiate a new diet for the both of you and invite him out to the gym to work out.

They have. Are some of you people reading different forums than I am??? Search any "My girlfriend is gaining weight...what do I do?" thread and you'll read about how she's not as attractive...then gradually people let their real feelings show and you do see "I would dump my g/f or wife if she got fat" comments.
After that it's REALLY a free-for-all on how gross, disgusting, gluttonous, etc. "American women" are and...yadda yadda...lather, rinse, repeat.
