I live way out in the boonies on side of a mountain, so i have www.directv.com

I'm fortunate to have artesian springs, so no water bill.
no garbage bill.

We do Hulu+, Amazon on demand, Crackle, and other internet channels w/over the air digital antenna for local channels. Works pretty well.

Direct TV. However they don't have my local channels for the market I am in. I am thinking of getting digital box to see if I can get the local channels. That is the nice thing about country living.

There is beauty in simplicity.

Sure. Also, seeds or no seeds? Sugar-free? Low-fat? Individual portions or party-sized? Organic? Spreadability?

Keeping it simple stupid(not an insult) really is the best solution in most situations.

But many people love making things more complicated than what they are.

We suscribed to DirectTV for several years, without any movie channels I watched the bill go from just under $35 to over $60 with no significant changes to programming. When we moved we decided to take the opportunity to wean ourselves from pay TV. We can't get satellite here due to no line of sight and I didn't want TWC. I'm waiting for AT&T to install U-verse in this area so I can get rid of the Earthlink/TWC internet.

Out here in the boonies, satellite is the only way we can some channels. About twenty years ago i used an antenna to get 1 channel clear.
