Ok I'm in a situation very unknown to me and need advice. Had third date with bar guy last night. I figured some kind of action was going to happen or at least I would see what I was working with, lol. Now of course when I know this is going to occur I make sure everything is presentable if you know what I mean We had numerous drinks in us and came back to my apt. I undressed him and all of a sudden I was presented with an out of control hasn't seen a razor/trimmer since born area I was like WHOA!!! I asked him to leave as I was literally tramatized and couldn't even think of having any type of contact with him after that. If I had a peeper, it would have shriveled up and crawled inside of my body!! Now trust me, I cannot go into detail here as the mods would have my head but it was severe. I didn't say why I was asking him to leave but I just said that I thought I was going to be sick from all the drinks.

Now here's the thing, he's a good guy and I could see myself dating him but that lower region needs to be cleaned up with a weedwhacker stat!!!! I have NEVER come across this and I would figure its 2011 and he's 29 and single so I would figure he would know to be presentable especially knowing things could happen.

Now what would be the politically correct way to bring this up and get it resolved???

Tell him the truth. You're not going down on him unless he trims the bush. Aside from the chaffing and stray hairs tickling your nose, it's just a turnoff for you.

Yikes! How well do you know this guy? I can see the value in Coolhand's advice, but do you think it would offend Mr. Furby if you were so blunt? Of course, maybe that would be a good litmus to see how he handles suggestions.

BTW, how are his teeth? If his teeth are all mossy and tartary and brown and gross, then I am afraid you may just have an unhygienic slob on your hands.

Have you been to his place yet? Are the kitchen and bathroom clean? That will give you an idea, too.

I guess I'm just saying that you have to look at the whole package. (Ba-DA-bum!)

Nope, I'm with you. I like men to be men. But I also don't know how bad of a situation the op was talking about lol. I don't mind some trimming or even completely bare either.

Trimming is one thing, shaving is another. If you shave down there, your nether regions will itch for about a week as the hair grows back. It sucks.

What's wrong with that? Even if that area hasn't seen the razor it can still be clean. That has nothing to do with personal hygiene. I thought you were going to say the guy didn't shower or something like that.

I guess because it's 2011 and metrosexual is in, natural is out. "Men" now shave their armpits and legs and groins, and I guess back and arms too, pluck eyebrows, paint their nails and the whole ball of wax.
