This poem was written by a good friend of mine who I used to write poetry with...racing who can come up with one the fastest in one setting:

"Johnny O'York"

Johnny O'York went to the pub to get a big pitcher of ale
When he walked in, he got quite a shock to see an ol' blout named Dale

Dale was the sod who stole his wench and carried 'er off to the shire
But the wench in turn left poor Dale and ran off with the friar

He kicked her out when he found out she'd been seeing the taylor
The tylor left in a cloud of dust when he caught her with the jailer

This wench you see, was a healthy girl and actually witty
But one dark morn' her luck ran out the scene, it was not pretty

Her and the jailer was 'avin some fun when in walked the jailer's wife
The wench got up and started to run, but was stopped by a butcher knife

The wife she said "no more of this; you've caused enough disorder!
Now push off wench or I'll cut your throat..."

The wench got down and implored her
"Please good mum, I'll knock this off just don't hurt me none"

The wife stood back and cocked her head in a look of absolute stun
"You dirty dog! You've had your fun, now this is your day!"

The wench said "NO! NO! NO! Good mum
It's not for fun, I'm being payed!"

In this world of ordinary people
Extraordinary people
I'm glad there is you

In this world of overrated pleasures
of underrated treasures
I'm glad there is you

In this world where many, many play at love
but hardly any stay in love
I'm glad there is you

You make me happy
You make me smile
Just to be with you
I'd drive 100,000 miles

No matter how much gas I burn
To be with you is what I yearn
And I'll do whatever it takes
To Make my heart cease to ache

So jump in and ride shotgun
I promise we'll have some fun
This is a trip you wont regret
An event you soon wont forget

Cuz baby just to see you smile
I'd drive 100,000 miles

This morning I gave that poem to the girl Im seeing

Give one another of your bread, but eat not from the same loaf.

Sing and dance together and be joyous,
but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of a lute are alone
though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping;
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.

And stand together yet not too near together;
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.

Poem by Khalil Gibran
The Prophet is one of my good read for all occasions: Here's the last part of...

"On Friendship"

And let your best be for your friend.
If he must know the ebb of your tide,
let him know its flood also.

For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?
Seek him always with hours to live.
For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.

And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter,
and sharing of pleasures.
For in the dew of little things
the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

We touch
I feel a rush
We clutch
it isn't much
But it's enough to make me wonder whats in store for us
It's lust
it's torturous
You must be a sorceress '
cause you just
did the impossible
Gained my trust
don't play games it'll be dangerous If you f*ck me over
'Cause if I get burnt
imma show ya
what it's like to hurt
'Cause I been treated like dirt
before ya
And love is "evol"
Spell it backwards
I'll show ya

Nobody knows me I'm cold
Walk down this road all alone
It's no one's fault but my own
It's the path I've chosen to go
Frozen as snow
I show
no emotion whatsoever
so
Don't ask me why I have
no love
for these motherf*ckin' hoes
Bloodsucking succubuses,
what the f*ck is up with this?
I've tried in this department
but
I ain't had no luck with this
It sucks
but it's exactly what I thought
it would be
Like tryin' to start over
I've got a hole in my heart,
for some kind of emotional rollercoaster
Something I won't go on
so you toy with my emotions
so it's over
It's like an explosion every time I hold ya
I wasn't jokin' when I told ya
You take my breath away
You're a supernova...

and I'm a

I'm a space bound rocket ship
and your heart's the moon
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
250 thousand miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
Right at you

I'll do whatever it takes
When I'm with you I get the shakes
My body aches when I ain't
With you
I have zero strength
There's no limit on how far I would go
No boundaries no lengths
Why do we say that
until we get that person that we thinks
Gonna be that one and then once we get 'em it's never the same
You want em when they don't want you
Soon as they do feelings change
It's not a contest and
I ain't on no
conquest
for no mate
I wasn't lookin'
when I stumbled
onto you
must've
been fate
But so much is at stake
what the f*ck does it take
Let's cut to the chase
Before the door
shuts
in your face
Promise me if I cave in and break and leave myself open
That I won't be making a mistake

Cause I'm a space bound rocket ship
and your heart's the moon
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
250 thousand miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
Right at you

So after a year
and 6 months
it's no longer me
that you want
But I love you so much it hurts
Never mistreated you once
I poured my heart out to you
Let down my guard
swear to god
I'll blow my brains in your lap
Lay here and die in your arms
Drop to my knees and I'm pleadin'
I'm trying to stop you from leavin'
You won't even listen
so f*ck it
I'm tryin' to stop you from breathin'
I put both hands on your throat
I sit on top of you squeezin'
'Til I snap your neck like a Popsicle stick Ain't no possible reason
I can think of to let you walk up out this house
And let you live
Tears stream down both of my cheeks
Then I let you go and just give
And before I put that gun to my temple
I told you this

That I would've done anything for you
To show you how much I adored you
But it's over now
It's too late to save our love
Just promise me you'll think of me
every time you look up in the sky and see a star 'cause

I'm a space bound rocket ship
and your heart's the moon
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
250 thousand miles on a clear night in June
And I'm so lost without you
Without you
Without you

The raw and unbuckled passions of us two young savage beasts
when as prey to each, we hungrily stalk this enchanted forest of love.
My lover calls to me, this glazen eyed tigress, so fit for ravenous feast
and, I hear her moaning in a thousand echos from the trees so high above.

The scent of the kill, a calling to thrill, so fragrant, in gentle winds blowing
First penetration, by eye contact, as we feel that fast rising blood of lust
boiling in the hot ambiance of this rhythmic ritual, this ever primal knowing,
and, in resignation to this love contract, we kneel at forest's floor, as dust.

Noonday , under a punishing sun and the unleashing of demons in heat.
the air is quiet, save the rattle of a lone darning needle calling to his mate
and beside the gnarled roots of a spreading cypress tree, two satyrs meet
in a stare, in desire, to battle at home for the charming of this snake of fate.

Each in a glorious turning, to submit or dominate, to satisfy and fully please
I reach, to be victorious by learning to commit, to elevate and gratify my lover,
beseech no notorious yearning, a quick conquest for lovers on their knees
to teach in laborious release, and be fit to celebrate this love feast together.

Werewolf - Assassin

He steps out of the shower still drenched and comes to the room

The Moon is a perfect circle resembling his yellow eye through the wide-open window
Belly-down on the bed, resting her head on her tiny hands
by the dim light of a slow burning candle, she is naked and waiting
Her legs are firm and her hair is long, covering the middle of her delicate back

Bending her leg at the knee, he starts to kiss
every inch of her legs until she squirms
He looks in her eyes and spreads her legs wide.
His carpets of kisses continue to the inside of her knee.

By the time his tongue reaches the inside of her thigh
she is taken and pulled him inside of her wetness
She lifts her legs up to take him in deeper.
He lowers his lips to the tip of her tongue.

Their tongues are in love, he could tell by the taste.
Their hips are in love, he could tell by the rhythm.

With her arms on the bed crossed over head
he holds both of her hands down with one of his own.
His other hand clamping down hard on her mouth.
His change comes on rapidly, nothing can stop it.

Then, he opens his jaws on the flesh of her soft throat
He sinks his teeth into her jugular vein.
Her blood spatters over the pillows and sheets.
She wants to scream, but his hand muffled it.
She wants to rise, but his power is much too strong

In a matter of few moments, it’s all over
He snarls at the Moon and leaps out the window

End.
R.H.

The minute I heard my first love story,
I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.

Lovers don't finally meet somewhere,
they're in each other all along.

My funny Valentine,
Sweet, comic valentine,
You make me smile with your heart.

Your looks are laughable,
Unphotographable,
But you're my favorite work of art.

Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak,
Are you smart?

Don't change a hair for me,
Not if you care for me,
Stay, little Valentine, stay!
Each day is Valentine's Day.

1 Corinthians 13

1 If I speak in the tonguesof men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
It's really nice.
