I have pictures of a man I met online who said he was from San Bernardino - how do I find him - he said his name was Gerald Daniels - can anyone help me?
If what you've experienced is really fraud, then that's probably not his real name, he's probably never even been to San Bernardino, and he most likely stole the photos from another man's profile.
i agree, unless you gave him money...than contact fraud internet handled by FBI ..but if not than just let it go....or if he threaten you contact the fbi and forward them emails with threats in them.
I am sorry he was a fake.
I have made very good friends online but usually through groups not dating thing. the dating thing just too weird for me...but i do know other people who love it. good luck
Unfortunlatey he did get money from me.....I spent 6 weeks online with him and finally figured it out but it was too late..having contacted the police, FBI, FTC and the internet fraud gov form along with a Fraud Alert in the UK..believe its a Nigerian scam..was too novice and really naive and now it has hurt me finanancially but I will bounce back - I refuse to be a "victim" in this...
But I have these photos that were posted and would really like to find out who this guy is that I thought I was talking to all these weeks.
Does anyone know how to find someone thru photos?
Good luck with that. If someone is going to commit fraud over the internet, he is most likely not going to provide his real name, or even his real gender, and he/she is certainly not going to provide photos of him/herself or a location where he/she can be found. He or she is most likely using a proxy server too. I'm sorry you were conned, but in the future, don't ever, under any circumstances, part with your money. A sad story is just that ... a story.
dbowers1956, one of the news magazine shows like 20/20 or 60 Minutes interviewed a guy last year - his photos were stolen and used in scams like this more than any other guy - and he was just an ordinary middle-aged white guy with brown hair - nothing special at all! Then they interviewed one of the guys who had stolen his photos - and he was Nigerian, lived in complete poverty, and looked nothing like the guy he was pretending to be.
You may think you were pouring out your heart and sending your money, to the guy in your photos. But chances are, the real guy looks nothing like what you would expect.

MANY of these scams originate out of eastern europe and China.
So, they grab some guys pics off an unprotected facebook profile or whatever and he has no idea about any of this....and you want to drag his face\name through the mud?
If you think that was his real picture you need to unplug your computer before you get scammed again.
Actually found out he probably lives in the UK - there is a large population of Nigerians living there..
