I've been hit by these several times while going from one site to another. Computer store help calls them "drive-bys." She said the best defense is if one pops up to immediately shut off the PC.
It does nothing anymore. I've removed all files that throw pop ups at me, it's no longer slowing down my computer, I now have to, at a reboot or start up, go into taskmanager and end all rundll processes which kills it completely and goes away.
I think tomorrow I'm going to have to start it in safe mode and run malwarebytes like 3-4 times and see if I can remove it that way.
LOL if that were the case I don't think either sex could stay married for long!
