As my cynical buddy Oscar Wilde says,

When I was young I thought that money was the most important thing in life; now that I am old I know that it is.

Another Wilde gem...sometimes I'm so clever I don't even understand what I'm saying(or something to that effect)!

I believe that!

We have one shovel and I broke my ice scraper last year. I need to get a new one soon.

There was just a commercial on TV for McD's Big Mac and they showed all these people eating one and then showed the mayo-jlzz on their face.

Okay so explain to me HOW that is going to sell a burger? I just want to vomit when I see that commercial!

McDonalds is disgusting.

I haven't eaten there in many, many years.

I haven't drank the stuff in 8 years since I was in Okinawa, so I can't really help you with brands, sorry. I do know you can expect to pay in the neighborhood of $30 - $70 on average for a bottle of something decent. If you want to get crazy, you can spend upwards of $300, but I'm not a sake connoisseur and I couldn't tell you if there's much of a differnce between a $30 bottle or a $100 bottle. I think there is a brand called Tokonako or something like that which is pretty good and can be bought in the states, it's on the dry side.

How about the Hardees commercials? Sound so close up it sounds like hyenas munching on fresh kill.

The price range is something I was looking for. I was hoping that around $50 would get me a decent bottle of sake.

It's going to be a gift for a friend of mine. He misses Japan, and that's all I got to go on for what to get him for Christmas LOL.
