I'd say...at 10 years most people only get 3 weeks!
My husband has 3 and we usually go away twice a year...the 3rd week he just uses here and there, 1/2 days and some full days for a 3 day weekend.
Unfortunately, good things often come too late... When I had more energy, more money (lived in an apt), my parents were alive, flying didn't suck so badly, the non-smoking shi*t was more bearable, I was taking a day or two around holiday weekends, rushing to and from effing airports to go somewhere. I used to love traveling! Now... not so much... At least I won't be so stressed anymore about appointments, waiting for technicians, and stuff like that, I can also stay home around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I can take some other time if there is a conflict around holiday weekends (because you may have it, but you can't always take it...).

We don't air travel. I don't like to fly but I do LOVE to drive out to the mountains or the beach and spend a week enjoying my surroundings.
And yup, most of his 3rd week is spent doing household projects, fixing the car...etc.
That's what happens when you populate a nation with immigrants, then proceed to brainwash them.
