Hello,I'm new...I have been with the same man 12yrs. We're not married but children. We've had problems like every other couple BUT our sex life,yes even after a decade together,has NEVER been an issue and nothing less than amazing.So my question is,why is he all of a sudden not into it? Let me give a lil background first..last Jan(2018) I left him for 7mo and he shows up this past summer a completely differ man..crying upset and I fell more I love w him than ever..around Dec,he started being less affectionate and I was getting depressed curious to how we went from"so in love" to the way it started in Dec,in just 4mo.Iv ask him,he yells,iv urged him to speak to me kindly,he gets upset,therapy? He went once. He's not on drugs and no,not cheating(I'm 1000% fyi so please just keep that in mind)..he shows no affection as far as having sex at all and the couple times he has,has only been bc he was afraid I would leave him..(what he's said in past anyway)so yeah,why/what makes a man all of a sudden just stop wanting his partner when the sex life is literally amazing? (P.s. I'm 35 he's 33..he can't be going through some mid life crisis...or COULD he?)
Hormones stress? I was “promoted” 2 weeks ago and needless to say my body is pumped with cortisol right now due to anxiety. Sex is the last thing I want right now.

No, it sounds like y'all are just one of those drama-filled on-again/off-again couples who lamentably bring children into their sex-driven whirlwind life.

Yep, what HC said. He's too young to have a big decline in testosterone, so that's not it. Stress will kill sex drive though. I didn't think my ex was cheating either, but then she married a co-worker after we got divorced, so...

And was the sex as amazing for him as it was for you? How are other areas of your relationship? Communication, time together, etc.? What's his love language?
