I was thinking that most women have what'd I'd call 'okay' or 'average' faces; maybe a little appealling, maybe a little attractive (cute or somehow appealing) but not usually enough to make me really notice them, maybe 10% are painfully ugly and 10% notably beautiful. Even with make-up I find a lot of women have sort of unremarkable faces (Jessica Simpson is a good example of one), and it would take other factors for me to be that attracted to them. I'm pretty self-critical of my own facial features, and in a way because female beauty has been hyped up men often look better than they seem too. Still, the percentages would be similar as for women, imo. By that I mean men and women are discriminating in this arena, but men would be more open to r/s for other reasons.
For me it varies a little bit depending on where the women are from, but in general in most countries most fall in that average.
This is a pretty good idea for a thread, sort of playing off the other thread about overall physical attraction to women one encounters. That thread was more about sex, and the overall package, not just the face, and by those standards I believe I said I find less than 5% of women so attractive I'd want to have sex with them. But if we're just talking about faces, and not necessarily sexual attraction, I'd say probably 20-25% of women I see have a face that I find attractive. I see quite a few women who have nice faces but otherwise don't attract me at all.

Me too...it's sometimes the type of attractiveness (not into the flashy porn star look) or if they have a body or not, but their overall demeanor also influences whether I find them attractive or not. There are some average looking women who just have a sort of sexual magnetism.

That's true. And for me, occasionally I'll see a woman who, at first glance I don't really find attractive, and wouldn't even expect to, but if I get a really good look at her, I'll see a unique sort of beauty in her face. Not something I could ever dream up on my own, but there it is nonetheless. I've experienced this a lot when looking at really old photographs. I can't describe it very well, but maybe if I come across one of the photos I'm thinking of, I'll post it.
