When first seeing a woman. But that doesn't mean the sparks and chemistry will fly in the bedroom.
If I think about the woman I hit it off most with in that respect (sexually).
Let me describe her.....9 years older than me. Curvy but overweight (oh man I hope she doesn't read this ). Looks wise most guys would give her a 5-6.
Then I have known other women on first glance most guys would give a 9-10 and sexually it wasn't in the same league.
Why did the 9 years older than me and curvy woman hit it off?
I pretty much knew we would upon the first two minutes talking to her.
Bubbly personality, unselfish, very positive person, often laughing. Could actually feel the chemistry in the air, its hard to describe other than to say its pleasurable and exciting.
Bottom line, nothing wrong with settling for a 5-6, If you have the chemstry and compatibilty.
From what my male friends have passed onto me, most of the "hot" women are NOT the hottest in bed! I think those who are called this, are just "perceived" to be that way.

Definitely agree with you there. How could you are in bed has nothing to do with how attractive you are. Sleeping with a lot of guys doesn't make you an expert in the art of lovemaking if you don't mix it up, or never really 'improve.'
There's a difference between plain old sluts and ladies versed in the art of sex.

I am not rationalizing, but going by what I was told. AND if you note, I had written "most" and not all and again by what I have been told. I could have put in "a few" and if you were saying this maybe "none" as we get our opinions by our own experiences....do we not???
IMO, when guys say a woman is "hot" they are doing so in terms of generalizing her as having a highly desirable body, which is different than the woman being highly attractive in an overall sense.
A woman certainly doesn't have to have super model looks to be a great woman, attractive, sexy, and a terrific catch!
usually a guy deems a girl hot by looks alone first, a girl that is very attractive can be a totally biatch and have no personality and not be as attractive once they get to know her
