with the quarterlife crisis comes another for twenty five year old girls everywhere; fear of fading youth. though technically we have 5 more years of perky youthfulness on our side, it is hard to look sideways when the men we want to date seem to bypass us for the freshly blossomed 21 year olds joining the dating pool.
so what do you, smart nerdy men at city-data think of 25 year old girls? Are they past their prime? How at this point in their life should they be navigating the dating pool to capitalize most of whats left of their beauty and youth?

Ye, I'd say somewhere between 30 and 40

I've actually found 25+ girls to be superior, because they're done acting like they're supermodels, yet still look the part. My largest problem with them is that they think I'm too young for em, as they usually aim for 30+ year old men.

WTF? No!

Beauty comes in all ages. I am sad for you that you feel such pressure from the clock.

No, that's so last century.

In today's society, we are living longer in life span, "settling down" later (that is, if you so choose) and also less defined/constrained by tradition. That's why people say things like 30 is the new 20 etc.

You are only past your prime if you think you are.

When looks fade you will need to polish a few things up, like learning how and when to use capital letters while writing.

Laughing out loud.

I'm 30. I'd have to think hard about whether I'd be willing to date someone who's 25. That might be too young for me.

You mention "the men we want to date". Based on that comment, I think it's possible that part of your dating problem is that you're too picky.

I've never heard of a "quarterlife crisis" before. LOL.

Do me a favor, OP ... print out this question, put it away somewhere safe for 30 years, then open it when you're 30 years older so you can have a good laugh and see how immature you used to be.

Even in 20 years you will understand how ridiculous this question is.
