ETA: I applaud you on your grammar though (in the subject line). I almost fainted when I saw somebody write that the correct way ("the worse," being between two possibilities, v. "the worst," which so many use for a comparison of two possibilities, but which in correct usage would mean three or more).

You need to judge which is worse for you, in your case by case situation.
What is the point of rating lies in this way? They are lies, period. Is it so someone can get all self-righteous and say, "Well at LEAST I didn't (A) [or] (B)"
And I agree that your friend sounds like a worthless douche and you should get a new one.
