I make chocolate creme brûlée! Hubby bought me a blow torch for Christmas one year - so now it comes out perfect!

Oh God! I hope not! I hope a size 6 isn't obese! I mean - it's big for me but hardly obese!

Anyway - I only drink root beer once in a blue moon - I don't really like carbonated drinks - they make my throat hurt!

Because a diet soda can kill you. Diet soda tied to heart attack, stroke risks: study - Health - Diet and nutrition - msnbc.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46430761/ns/health-diet_and_nutrition/t/diet-soda-tied-heart-attack-stroke-risks-study/ - broken link)

I don't drink it because it falls under the category of "fake food" and I have been making an effort to elimiate that food group (though I will occasionally feed a craving).

But yeah...everyone who drinks soda is obese

From that article:

Quote:
The findings are based on 2,564 New York City adults who were 69 years old, on average, at the outset. Over the next decade, 591 men and women had a heart attack, stroke or died of cardiovascular causes.

That included 31 percent of the 163 people who were daily diet-soda drinkers at the study's start. In contrast, 22 percent of people who rarely or never drank diet soda went on to have a heart attack or stroke.

There was no increased risk linked to less-than-daily consumption. Nor was regular soda tied to heart attacks and strokes.
Everything in moderation.

Agreed. I don't usually drink soda. I will have one if I go to the movies. That, and a small popcorn, which is really a large imo. Drinking soda is like having a dessert.

What I recommend to folk for some flavor, is naturally flavored sparkling water. Zero calories. Zero everything. For water I usually buy smart water.

Madam, a creme brulee is healthier than carbonated chemicals.

Besides, a creme brulee is so fulfilling and sticky on the throat that people won't touch it for another 10 days.

But that's what differentiates real food and chemicals. Real food grows tired. Chemicals don't.

Coke and Pepsi designed these chemicals to react addictive on the throats of people. They always drink it more and more and more.
