I helped a friend set up a very romantic proposal. He took his girl to a nice restaurant in Laguna Beach, then for an after dinner twilight walk on the beach below the cliffs. On the beach, in a little hidden nook in the bluff, a couple of us had set up a bistro table and 2 chairs with champagne and strawberries for desert, backlit by white Christmas lights (generator hid 100 yards away to light them, noise covered by crashing waves). She did'nt suspect a thing until she rounded the corner and saw the table. He sat her down and dropped to one knee to do the deed. When we went in to tear it all down after he gave us the high sign about 30 minutes later, she was still crying & smiling.

you know that expression children have when someone tells them something like "santa clause isn't real" ? well it was a little like that, except imagine a 22 year old woman a bit taller than your average 12 year old. Infact the expression was so similar I might as well have told her that rudolph was outside to cheer her up.

Does anyone out there know if there are any contests out there for crazy wedding/engagement proposals? I have a video of mine. Just wondering. If anybody has any info, that would be great.
