Why can't I approach women?

I heard this many times, but I still believe a good guy friend is the best way to go. If a woman trusts a man then she can open her heart to him. And it is very true some men just know the right words to say.

Eye contact and smile is common courtesy in USA regardless of sex.

Relax. Don't over think it. If you want something more than one night stands then guide the relationship in that direction and get to know her through meaningful activities. (Meaningful activities: volunteer work, painting class for couples, cooking class for couples, art exhibit.......places that make you interact and talk without distraction)
