Shoes tell quite a bit about a person.

I wear shoes of all types, and I wear dressy high heels for work things (and carry my flat ballet shoes in my bag). I am all about dressing for the setting.

One observation I have made is that those uber-pointy shoes that a lot of women in NY wear seems to signify that the wearer has a deeply evil personality. Feel free to disagree.

Don't really care what a date wears, but many of the women I've been into have worn flats, skate shoes, tennis shoes, etc... really depends on what they're doing.

Personally, I have a pair of cowboy boots that are nice and beat-up after only 8 months of wear (you'd be amazed how scuffed they get doing minor stuff around the house, plus feeding the animals, taking care of friends' cattle, etc.) that I switch off with a pair of high-top Nike skate shoes. Comfy as hell. Dunno what those say about me, though.

i think all womens shoes look idiotic so whatever. but the condition/cleanliness of the shoe tells me more about a person than the brand.
unless they're wearing uggs and i think they're imbeciles. or tom's and i think they're trendy cornballs. those are hideous shoes. good cause and all, but the shoes are ugly.

I have a LOT of heels and wedges, but I don't wear them as often as I'd like. I'm usually in converse, vans or generic cheap flip flops, but I also love quirky shoes. I have a pair of Wonder Woman slip ons that a friend painted for me, and I have a pair of heels with comic book scraps decopaged on them along with my cute little vans with strawberries on them. I also have my absolutely hideous shop shoes, but they're soooo comfy! I do own knock off uggs, but I NEVER wear them in public.

As for guys, I've always been attracted to guys wearing generic vans or converse as long as they're in decent condition. EVERYONE where I live wears flip flops and beach slip-ons so I'm pretty used to them. Dress shoes? Vintage style, please
