I have read a few articles on the internet about the current availability of good men and have read complaints from women that they can't find any good quality men. I read some articles where the authors claim to have interviewed women who said that men were less and less interested in relationships. One woman even said that she met a guy at a sports bar and after spending sometime talking to him she agreed to leave with him to spend the night together but when they
got to his place he started playing video games and he asked her to join him and that was his idea of spending the night together. I woukd like to hear from the ladies
Has that ever happened to you, do you think that really happens a lot or do you think the media and the internet are blowing this issue out of proportions?
I do think that good men are more difficult to find because a lot of guys simply aren't growing up, while many women are growing up a bit too quickly. I know quite a few men in their 30s who are perfectly content living at home and working part time and have absolutely no interest in relationships beyond a very superficial FWB situation.
So, when women in their late 20s/early 30s are ready to settle down, the men in that age range are still acting like 18 year olds.

Interesting replies ladies, being a man I do observe some of this but I can't see the bigger picture because I can't see it from the point of view of a woman.
Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free? They see marriage as more of a drag and less of a commitment to someone they love, which is exactly how I see marriage. Being with your best friend and developing a life together. These men only see it as a huge bummer because they have to have some responsibility and become a grown up.
Of course, many women I know are starting to see marriage the same way. Why get married and have to take care of an overgrown child? Then you have a kid or two and he leaves you for this years hot new model as soon as possible. Why put yourself through all that? Why not support yourself and have casual relationships?
There are a lot of good men out there but they aren't in bars
